About
For those who have looked for a record album that is easy to listen to and great to dance to, the Melody Tones have put together a modern contemporary sound that comprises both these characteristics. The album is basically “old time music” highly developed, well rehearsed and achieved in a very professional calibre by a strong instrumental band.
Many hours and many years have been spent in developing a unique sound featured on “Dance to the Melody Tones” with a variety of instruments well interpreted, establishing a rapport that the band has really “come to play”. The polkas feature high-powered musical diversification and fine instrumentation in polka beat while the waltzes are done in harmony with a fine instrumental blend. The fox trots are performed in a fashion that makes one want to “sway” to the music.
On this their second album the Melody Tones have chosen material with the aspect of “Dance” in mind. It will become obvious to you the listener that the goal of producing a dynamic dance record of this type has been achieved.
